Here's a fun, educative workshop, that will revolve around the need for conservation of species in our environment. The participants will get a chance to learn how to make nests from natural materials and they will also be taken around the venue for bird watching.

 Workshop Facilitator: Rakesh Khatri

Rakesh Khatri is a storyteller and conservationist by profession and was recognized by the Limca Book of Records for nest making and eco-theatre. He is known for making around 1000 nests from jute and recycled tetra packs and has appeared in numerous documentaries and magazines on national and international platforms.  

Cost Inclusions:

  • Session Fee
  •  Equipment for Nest Making: Small Bamboo Sticks, Grass, Threads, Jute bag


Contents of the Workshop:

  • The workshop will start with a brief intro to the workshop.
  • Children will be taken around the sanctuary to see birds.
  • activities including games which will aim at teaching children the importance of the environment. They will be taught how to make nests and where to place them.
  • Photography session and distribution of participation certificate.

9:30 AM - START
1. Workshop Briefing
2. Tour around the sanctuary
3. Environmental awareness games
4. Nest making/ Teaching
5. Group Photograph and certificate distribution
12:30 PM - END

Note:

  • The participants will be provided with all the equipment required for the workshop.
  • Participants are requested to be on time and come in sportswear.
  • Participants are requested to carry their own water bottles.

Cancellation policy:

50% refund on or before seven days from the date of the event. No cancellation permitted a week before the workshop.
