Get your hands dirty and get an actual hands on farm experience while gaining awareness of the skills necessary for successful farming. For those who are interested in getting their hands in the earth and their feet on the ground this is the workshop you must attend! This workshop is open to all!

Workshop Details :

Workshop Date : 19th October 2019 (Saturday)

Location : The Prodigal Farms, Near Jaypee Hospital, Bandh Road, Sector 131, Noida, UP 201304

Timings : 10 am - 4 pm 

Workshop Facilitators : Neha Bhatiaa and Puneet Tyagi


Neha & Puneet are Prodigal cooks turned farmers. They support local farmers and businesses by making the switch to organic and natural, to bridge the gap between consumers and growers and to inspire each food-lover to care about eating clean and real food.

Cost Inclusions:

Food : An elaborate 4-course curated farm meal & farm-sourced spread of multiple salads, appetizers, main course and desserts

Drinks : Farm inspired beverages, organic detox drinks, freshly brewed coffee and infused teas

Farm Giveaway : A small token of gratitude from the farm team

Activities : Farm tour, farming activities, workshops on natural farming, garden art (for kids), growing microgreens (for adults)upcycling

Itinerary : 

10:00-10:30 : Welcome drinks with some nibbles

10:30-11:30 : Farm tour along with farming activities

11:30-13:00 : Workshops on natural farming, growing microgreens along with kids workshop on natural farming & garden art

13:00-14:30 : 4 course farm lunch

14:30-15:30 : Upcycling workshop

15:30-16:00 : Chai pe charcha (culinary storytelling)

16:00 :  Farm giveaway and goodbyes


Contents of the workshop:

1. Farm Tour - its history, the produce, the farm animals and farmers

2. Natural Farming techniques -  hands-on experience, grow your own food

3. Understanding composting - DIY workshop

4. Animal Husbandary - empathy for animals, animals role at the farm, feeding habits

5. Upcycling Workshop - DIY workshop

Note:

  • Recommended to get sunscreen and sunglasses, comfortable footwear and a happy appetite!
  • Tickets will be per head basis
  • Material for upcycling workshop will be available at the farm

Cancellation policy:

50% refund on or before 7 days from the date of the event. No cancellation permitted a week before the workshop
