This exclusive two-day  workshop is designed for all those passionate about photography. This workshop is hosted by Mohit Ahuja and his team of Superhumans. It is a place where they can learn about the basics of photography and their applications.

Facilitator Details

Workshop Facilitator: Mohit Ahuja  and Team (Tanmay, Vikas, Bharat, Shaishav, Shiva and Tarit)

Labelled as mentally retarded, intellectually challenged, disabled, or sometimes bechaaras by the society, Tanmay, Vikas, Bharat, Shaishav, Shiva and Tarit are breaking the norms of the so-called NORMAL.
For two years they have been trained in the skill of photography by Mohit Ahuja, an advertising professional who also happens to be a sibling to an intellectually-challenged elder sister.
In this short span of time, they have worked for brands like Harley Davidson India, Panasonic Lumix, Gurgaon Moms, Rohit Bal, The Princess Diya Kumari Foundation, ShowSha Baaz Caravan, Rasavatta and many more.
They are now also the featured photographers for Panasonic India and have been the brand ambassadors of the initiative called #BeyondFrames, their second exhibition held at Photo Video Asia 2018, followed by their third exhibition at CEIF2019

Location: 42-A, Flat No. 201, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, Delhi 110016

Timings: 10:30 am to 4:30 pm

Itinerary

Day 1 

10:30am to 1:00pm 

 -  Understanding the challenge: This is the very first step where the facilitator spends time with the students to understand their exposure to photography

 - Superhumans and the world of Photography

 - Understanding the camera through the eye

 - Understanding Lines

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

***Break for Lunch***

2:00 pm to 4:15 pm 

 - Understanding focal points and how they work: 

 - Using lines to create good photographs

  4:15 pm onwards

-Conversation over chai

Day 2 

10:30am to 1:00pm

 - Understanding Light

 - Using Shutter and Aperture

 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm 

***Break for Lunch***

2:00 pm to 4:15 pm 

- Communicating through a great composition

- Shooting Products

4:15 pm onwards

-Conversation over chai

Note:

  • All participants are required to carry a DSLR camera as well as make arangements for accomodation (if required) for the workshop.
  • The course will be customized according to each student's individual needs and understanding. For visually impaired individuals, a separate curriculum will be created with greater focus on touch and sounds.
  • The workshop will be held on the 2nd floor of a building without elevators or ramps. Although assistance will be available for persons using wheelchairs and other assistive technology.
